Purchased at International Design Center (For those of you that don’t know, it was an Scandinavian interiors warehouse in the North Loop of MPLS back in 80s and 90s- Valhalla- full of Danish and Scandinavian furnishings, teak, a Björn Wiinblad fountain welcomed you into the glass ceiling atrium, plants, Danish Bohemia, orrefors crystal, the works) The painting is on a hand stretched canvas, with a gold tone thin edge frame. Very chic. Deep Italian reds, clarets, burgundy, touches of ocher, thin veins of cerulean blue, a vein of green. My photos don’t do it justice. Would be spectacular paired with a black Danish teak sofa, some chrome touches. Or, could see it in a room mixed with framed antique architectural drawings, a Parisian or English juxtaposed vibe.
